A Season of Blossoms, Bunnies, and New Beginnings

Greetings, Villagers!

April has arrived in Dreamlight Valley, and with it comes a fresh breeze of magic, blooming flowers, and a sprinkle of delightful surprises. As the Valley awakens from its wintry slumber, there’s a sense that something wonderful is always just around the corner. Let’s take a look at what this enchanting month has in store!

Spring has sprung in the Valley

The Valley is positively glowing as spring settles in! Gardens are bursting with color, critters are extra playful, and even the wells seem to shimmer a little brighter. It’s the perfect time to tidy up your favorite corners, plant new crops, and enjoy a peaceful stroll under sunny skies. Don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers – some say they’re humming with Dreamlight.

The Easter Event begins April 1st!

Get ready to hop into the fun! Dreamlight Valley’s Annual Easter Eggstravaganza officially begins on April 1st. Keep your eyes peeled around the Valley for eggs of various colors. Whether you’re hunting for hidden treats or crafting seasonal delights, this event is sure to bring smiles, laughter, and maybe a little friendly competition. Rumor has it, even the critters are getting in on the fun!

More details can be found here: https://disneydreamlightvalley.com/news/LuckyYou_Extravaganza_2026

A new friend on the horizon...

Whispers are floating through the wind, and the magic of the Valley is stirring – Pocahontas is expected to appear in Dreamlight Valley sometime soon! While no one knows exactly when she will arrive, many villagers say they can already feel a calm, adventurous energy flowing just around the river-bend. Perhaps it’s time to make sure our natural spaces are extra welcoming for a visitor who knows the land better than anyone.

Recipe of the Month: Lemon Garlic Swordfish

A light, zesty dish that’s perfect for those breezy April evenings, Lemon Garlic Swordfish brings a touch of seaside magic right to your table.

As the sun sets a little later and spring air drifts through the Valley, this dish feels like a celebration of fresh beginnings. Tender Swordfish is paired with bright lemon and fragrant garlic, creating a flavor that’s bold yet beautifully balanced – simple ingredients coming together in perfect harmony, much like the magic of Dreamlight itself.

The lemon adds a cheerful sparkle, reminiscent of golden afternoons spent by the water, while the garlic brings warmth and depth that makes every bite feel comforting and satisfying. It's the kind of meal that feels elegant without being fussy, making it ideal for a relaxed evening or a special dinner shared with friends.

Serve it alongside fresh vegetables or a light salad, and you’ve got a dish that tastes like springtime on a plate. Whether you’re dining under the stars or enjoying a quiet night indoors, Lemon Garlic Swordfish is sure to become a seasonal favorite.

Featured ingredients:
  • Swordfish
  • Lemon
  • Garlic
Let this month’s recipe inspire you to savor the season, try something new, and enjoy the little moments – because even the simplest meals can be magical.

Community Shout-Outs

Dreamlight Valley wouldn’t sparkle quite as brightly without the kindness, creativity, and teamwork of its villagers. This month, we’re shining a little extra Dreamlight on some truly magical moments happening around the Valley!

A big thank-you to our helpful helpers who have been busy tidying paths, restoring forgotten corners, and lending a hand whenever a neighbor needs it. Your efforts keep the Valley feeling warm, welcoming, and full of hope.

We’d also like to celebrate the creative spirits who’ve been decorating their homes and shared spaces with springtime flair. From cheerful gardens to cozy, storybook interiors, your imagination reminds us that magic lives in the details.

If you see someone doing something wonderful, don’t forget to say thanks or pass along a compliment. After all, Dreamlight grows strongest when we share it.

Keep shining bright, Villagers – you make this Valley a truly magical place to be.

Exclusive Interview: A Tail-Wagging Romance

This month, we sat down with the Valley's most iconic duo, Lady and Tramp, to talk about spring flings and neighborhood strolls.

Gazette: Lady, Tramp, thanks for joining us! How are you two enjoying the warmer weather?

Lady: Oh, it's simply divine. The gardens are finally beginning to bloom, and the air smells so much sweeter. It's the perfect time for a morning stroll.

Tramp: You said it, Pidge. Though I'm more interested in the hidden treasures that wash up after spring rains. There's always something new to find if you've got a keen nose!

Gazette: Any advice for our readers on making the most of the season?

Tramp: Keep it simple. You don't need a fancy collar to enjoy a sunset. Just find a good friend, a quiet alley, and maybe a stray meatball or two.

Lady: And don't forget to stop and smell the flowers! Manners and kindness go a long way when the village is busy.

Gazette: We have to ask - any dinner plans tonight?

Tramp: Let's just say I know a guy. Tony's got the accordion ready.

Lady: [Laughs] It's a classic for a reason!

Critter of the Month: Owl

Perched quietly among ancient trees and softly glowing lanterns, the Owl is a creature straight out of a fairytale – and this month, it’s fluttreing into the spotlight.

Known for its calm presence and watchful eyes, the Owl seems to carry a little wisdom in every feather. Often spotted at dusk or beneath moonlit skies, this graceful critter glides silently through the Vale, as if turning invisible pages in an unwritten story. Some villagers say the owl appears when magic is nearby... others believe it simply enjoys a good plot twist courtesy of the Lore Keeper.

With its gentle hoots and curious head tilts, the owl has quickly become a favorite among those who wander the quieter paths of the Valley. It’s the perfect companion for late-night stargazing, peaceful walks, or moments when you just need to pause and listen to the world around you.

If you’re lucky enough to spot one, take a moment to admire it (and offer it some barley) - you might just feel inspired to write your own story or revisit an old favorite. After all, in a place like Dreamlight Valley, even the smallest critter can remind us that magic lives in every chapter.

Keep your eyes open and your heart curious – you never know when the Owl might be watching over you.

Ask Solie

Dear Solie,
Aloha. It is Stitch. I am trying very hard to make Dreamlight Valley look festive for Easter, but decorations keep... exploding. Or falling over. Or being eaten by ducks. Stitch wants Valley to look cute and springy, not like space-wreck.

Please give advice on the best way to decorate Easter in Dreamlight Valley so Stitch can make everything pretty and not cause “seasonal chaos,” as Merlin says. Help me keep my badness level low.

Mahalo, Stitch

Dear Stitch,
Thank you for writing. Your excitement is wonderful, and it makes Dreamlight Valley feel bright. Decorations that break or fall over only mean you are trying very hard.

To make Easter look nice, start with soft colors and simple things:
  • Pastel ribbons
  • Flower baskets
  • Pretty eggs
Place these where no one will step on them. Choose decorations that are strong, so they do not fall apart when you touch them.

If ducks keep eating your decorations, put a small snack for them nearby. This helps them stay busy and leave your Easter things alone. Just please don’t feed the ducks coffee and coconut cake! We don’t want them to have the zoomies.

Most of all, take your time. Place each item slowly. Ask a friend to help hold things steady. When you are calm, your decorations will stay calm too.

With kindness,
Love Solie

P.S. You didn’t have to sign your name you cute and fluffy creature
.

Until Next Time...

April is a month of renewal, surprises, and gentle magic. Whether you’re celebrating the Easter Event, preparing for new arrivals, or simply enjoying the beauty of the Valley, we’re so glad you’re part of this ever-growing story.

Until next month – may your pockets be full of Dreamlight and your days filled with wonder!

Springtime Strolls & Spaghetti Bowls

March brings a burst of romance and charm as Lady and the Tramp officially join the Valley's resident roster. Their arrival introduces a cozy, heartwarming questline centered on reconnecting with their neighbors, restoring the Puppy Play Corner, and helping them settle into their not-so-new home in the Valley.
  • Help Lady & Tramp recreate their iconic spaghetti dinner
  • Build a new play area complete with chew toys, agility tunnels, and a fountain
  • Cook new recipes and decorate with new decor items
  • Unlock themed furniture and dog-themed accessories by completing their quest lines.

Seasonal Spotlight: Spring in the Valley

March marks the Valley's shift into soft greens, budding flowers, and gentle afternoon rains. New seasonal items and critters appearing here and there. This makes for the perfect month for foraging, decorating, and refreshing your wardrobe.
  • Decor: Flower garlands, pastel lighting, stepping stones
  • Foraging: fruits, herbs

Realm Rumors & Whispers

You heard it here first... The Dream Castle is humming with new magic. Some residents are reporting they've heard faint accordion music drifting from behind a locked door - could a new realm be preparing to open? Others claim Scrooge has been ordering "Mediterranean tiles" and "streetlamp bundles" in bulk.

The Valley may be getting a new neighbor soon... or perhaps this is the first signs of a new festival???

Craft Corner: Spring DIYs

Solie Says

Dear Solie,
I've been spending a lot of time in my valley lately, and I've spotted some of the most adorable critters. The problem is, every time I get close enough to say hello, they bolt. I just want to be friends and share a snack, but I feel like I'm playing a high-stakes game of tag that I'm definitely losing.

How do I bond with a shy critter who keeps running away?
~Out of Breath in the Valley

Dear Out of Breath,
I feel your pain! It's hard to be a social butterfly when the neighbors think you're a hawk. Here's how to go from 'scary giant' to 'best friend':
  • Play hard to get: Sit still and ignore them. Reading a book makes you look like a harmless rock rather than a predator.
  • The snack trail: Don't hand-feed  yet. Leave a treat - like an apple slice - and step back. Let them learn that you equal deliciousness.
  • Shrink down: Get low to the ground. If you're sitting, you aren't nearly as scary to a tiny critter.
Pro Tip: Avoid direct eye contact at first. In the wild, a stare-down is a challenge, not a greeting!

Be patient and let their curiosity do the work. You'll the talk of the valley soon!

Love,
Solie

Love in every corner of the Valley

Love finds a way in Dreamlight Valley

February drifts into Dreamlight Valley like a soft blush of rose-colored light. The Plaza is dotted with heart-shaped garlands, the Meadow smells faintly of cocoa and wildflowers, and even the critters seem to scamper with extra affection. It's a month that reminds every Dreamer that love - in all its forms - is the Valley's most powerful magic.

Across the biomes, villages are preparing their own celebrations:

  • Minnie is crafting homemade valentines
  • Remy is perfecting a Lovestruck Souffle
  • Wall-E has been spotted collecting flowers with unusual enthusiasm...
...and.... Somewhere in the distance, a pair of pawprints hint at the romantic duo soon to arrive.

This February, the Valley invites you to slow down, savor the sweetness of connection, and rediscover the joy of giving and receiving love - whether through a shared meal, a thoughtful gift, or a quiet moment under the stars.

Love finds a way here. It always has.

Sew splendid spring celebrations a coming

Dearest Villagers,

This month, we have the opportunity to care for our earth in ways we don't always recognize on a daily basis. You see, on April 22, we celebrate our environment. In doing so, I think we should take the time to recognize the work of our villagers and renew our own determination to live sustainably.

What's this....

I recognize that it's easy sometimes to forget how much there is to strive for. Especially when we are having to pause and sew ourselves back together (sometimes metaphorically, and sometimes literally). But, we must remember this month to pause and reflect on what the valley has given us. Yes, we have those pesky night thorns to deal with, but even so, they can be managed.

There's eggs everywhere....

This month, I challenge you to think of ways you can be more earth friendly and leave a note in Daisy's Suggestion box to let us know what you did for our environment.

Oh dear, I should go see what Jack is getting into...

Sew blessed to call you my neighbor

~Sally

Fantastic Friend

A Budding Friendship:

Since arriving in Dreamlight Valley, Jasmine has been a breath of fresh air, bringing with her a sense of adventure and a deep connection to nature. She's been a wonderful friend to many, always offering a kind word and a helping hand. For example, recently she's helped us locate and open our lost journal. During this recent adventure, she stuck right by our side and was compassionate when we realized the mental aspect finding our own words would have on us.

Furthermore, she shares her thoughts with us throughout her day. "The Valley has such unique flora," she recently shared with us, while carefully pruning a rare Dreamlight Orchid. "It's been a joy to learn about its secrets and share my knowledge with others." We are blessed by her wealth of knowledge about different artifacts we've found in the valley since she arrived.

Minnie and Daisy have been recruited by Remy to help him create a feast in honor of Jasmine. Watch for it to appear in a valley near you soon and help us celebrate all she has done!

Dรฉcor Challenge

As we welcome spring, we know that easter is on it's way. This month, create an easter scavenger hunt in your valley. Then invite your friends over to find Spring chocolate, egg bowls, and mimosas galore! Take a photo to share in our next edition of the Gazette!

Dots and Daisies

Recently, we have seen The Forgotten out and about in our valley more often. Upon noticing this, Daisy had a conversation with Solie and Minnie Mouse about how we could feature her more.

Minnie would like to see Forgotten inspired outfits and furniture offerings in your boutiques this month! Think black and purple with a hint of mint. Make them just based off of what inspires you when you think of The Forgotten and perhaps even decorate her room in your house with the items made in honor of her.

Dear Solie

As I was out wondering the valley I happened to hear a voice I didn't recognize mumbling to themselves and one of the comments really piqued my interest. Solie, would you mind diving into "Why our valley ruler should have all the power?

with love,

Your loyal reader

Dearest loyal reader,

Solie has thought about your question. Perhaps it looks like we have all the power, but really we don't. Everybody has their role to play in the Valley. For example, Belle keeps our library sparkly and organized while Mr. Merlin advises our villagers on all sorts of topics. I hope this sums it up for you. And remember, there is a suggestion box should you have any further inquiries.

Much love,

Solie

Upcoming events

Attention one and all, we have an event in the valley! Happening now in a valley near you is the annual  eggstravaganza. Click the link below to see more information on the eggs popping up everywhere!

Are you gearing up for our next update while searching for eggs? Do you have any ideas about who might be coming in our Spring 2025 update? Gameloft has hinted that a new table may be coming and it looks to be Alice in Wonderland themed!

What do you think this thing is going to do? If I were a betting person, I'd say it might recycle unwanted crafted items!

We are still looking forward to the second installment of the Storybook Vale story. Do you have any ideas as to what that might be?

A springtime note

Dearest friends, As the first blooms of spring peek through the frost and the days stretch longer, it is such a magical time to welcome fresh beginnings and renew our hopes. Nature reminds us that life is cyclical and ever-changing. Every bud that unfolds and every birdsong that fills the air is a testament to resilience and growth.

Take a moment to revel in the beauty around you. Whether it is a walk through the plaza, planting new flowers with Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, or simply opening your windows to let the fresh breeze in, let the spirit of spring renew your heart and home.

Remember, this season is not just about the outside world awakening - it is also about nurturing the seeds of your own dreams and aspirations. Embrace the opportunity to start anew, pursue your passions with zest, and spread kindness and joy like dandelion seeds on the wind.

Wishing you a season filled with warmth, love, friendship, and a touch of fairy magic.

With enchantment,

Your Fairy Godmother

Be on the lookout (BOLO)

Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Gaston for information leading to the location of Minnie's polka dot chair. Gaston was rewarded with six dozen eggs. Wall-E has been apprehended. Minnie was incredibly happy to have her polka dot chair returned to her and requested that we show grace with sentencing as she knows Wall-E would never do any harm to another villager.

During the investigation, we found that Wall-E had taken the chair to try and replicate it as a gift to his sweetheart. Wall-E expressed his deepest apologies and returned the chair immediately to its rightful owner. He agreed to serve community service in the form of one shift at either Chez Remy or Tiana's Palace waiting tables.

In other news, Sheriff Wood and Buzz Lightyear are seeking new recruits to help keep an eye on the village. Please print the following application and place it in Daisy's Suggestion Box if you wish to apply.

1. Name

2. Birth month

3. Biome of residence

3. How may we contact you?

4. Why do you wish to join forces?

5. Please include a selfie.

Fantastic friend

We've had some new additions to the valley since our last edition and it's high time we give thanks and show our gratitude not only to our neighbors, but also to our companions and critters alike. This month, let's take the time to shower Carpet with all the love in our hearts. Carpet was instrumental in saving Agrabah from the sand storms wreaking havoc and preventing Jasmine and Aladdin from being able to find their way back after the forgetting. He was kind enough to give Aladdin and his friends a ride up to the top of the tower where they were able to smash the stones and end the storms once and for all. The Sultan was so impressed that he declared it a day basking in all things relaxing in honor of Carpet. Carpet was treated to a day at the Oasis Spa along with all of his critter and companion friends.

Decor challenge

Spring is upon us and all things will be in bloom before we know it. Take some time this month to select your favorite biome or island and create a spring build. Requirements include:
  • flowers or bushes
  • picnic or garden
  • water feature or topiary
  • bright, playful colors
The winner will receive:
  • supplies to build an item they have been saving for

Dear Solie

Dearest Solie,
I would like to take this time to thank you for your heartfelt message to the villagers. It has inspired me to pay more attention to my surroundings. As such, I found that the Forgotten really is enjoying studying our villagers. I wonder if perhaps she's pondering what or whom might be inside Skull Rock and when Mister Merlin will figure out how to open it fully. Oh the adventures that await on the other side!
With love,
A concerned villager

Our beloved concerned villager,
It's nice to hear from you again. Not to be blunt, but have you asked her? I find that she's really easy to talk to.
Love,
Solie

Dear Solie,
I saw the newsletter recently and want to thank you for being so kind on my behalf. If it would be ok, I would like to ask a question. Do you think it might be possible for the valley to have more events like the Galentine party that Starr and her friends had in their valleys? I think her friends and all of the villagers loved it. It also taught me so much about love and generosity. I never imagined how much someone could be kind to their friends and what joy it would bring. I hope one day I can be part of those events too. I'm just not ready yet.
Best regards,
The Forgotten

Dear Forgotten,
I was so pleased to hear from you. I enjoyed the Galentine's party as well! Perhaps you and I can put together something for Easter. Perhaps we could ask Starr to help. Even better, we could insert some suggestions into Daisy's suggestion box in the Meadow. That way everyone can be involved. Thank you so much. I pray you feel at home soon.
Love,
Solie

Upcoming events

With a new update, comes a new starpath! See the patch notes here if you haven't already read them. We saw MANY new and exciting things in the valley in additon to a visit to Agrabah! While the realm was a bit on the challenging side, we are happy to report that everyone has successfully added Aladdin, Jasmine, and CARPET to their valleys and there was even a little teaser that Abu and maybe even Genie might make an appearance at a later time!

What fun have you been making during this latest update and what is your favorite starpath item so far?

We have a few updates yet before we see another update for the Storybook Vale. What are you looking most forward to?

Galentine's party

We sepnt the morning going around to each other's valleys to see the decorations and exchange gifts. Some of our favorites were coffee, sugar free muffins, and even some glimmer!

We hope you enjoy the photos we captured from our Galentine's party in Starr's plaza and hope to see you all at the next event.

Fun fact - to make 60 pieces of the bordered candy path in Starr's plaza, you will need 30 pieces of candy. It took her about 1.5 weeks to make enough of this path for her decorations. She's incredibly thankful for the use of the auto cooker she built with the Rift in Time expansion to make this faster!

Much love,
Solis, Starr, Monkey, and Turtle

Featured recipe

In honor of St. Patricks day in the month of March, Merida and Scrooge McDuck have suggested what they describe as a "wonderful dish." Merida notes that she believes all villagers will absolutely go ham for it! If you happen to make it, please leave your review in Daisy's suggestion box so the editors can include your thoughts in the next edition.

Sausage and Sauerkraut Platter
  • Pork (found at Gaston's stall in the Glittering Dunes)
  • Cabbage (seeds can be found at Goofy's stall in the Wild Tangle)
  • Potato (seeds can be found at Goofy's stall in the Forgotten Lands)
This three star entree will provide 958 energy, is available with the Rift in Time expansion, and will sell for 884 star coins. While it's not a ton of money, it will help if you are in a pinch.

Please leave a message for Turtle in Daisy's Suggestion box with your favorite recipes to be considered for a future edition of the Dreamlight Gazette.

In case you missed it...
